Ria Bintan Golf

This is the jewel in the crown on Bintan, with 27 holes including the Nicklaus course which has stunning ocean side holes especially 7 – 10 simply outstanding! The Gary Player 9 hole Woodland course is also superb, lots of elevated tees and hills and valleys – very picturesque indeed. A course which takes the breath away on almost every tee shot and approach, but the 8the and 9^th holes excel.

Bintan Lagun Golf Resort

This exceptional 36-hole venue offers the visitor 2 great challenges, an 18 hole Nicklaus design featuring a few classic ocean side holes and the even more challenging Ian Baker Finch course which is a classic woodland golf course with stunning rolling hills and lovely vegetation, but tough and longer than the Ocean. The difficulty of the courses especially Baker Finch is there are many raised greens with steep run offs, the par 3 holes are especially spectacular to play on both courses. There are plenty of dog legs on the Baker Finch course. It is worth saying that the Nicklaus design is much more busy and one could argue that the Baker Finch course is the better design! Nicklaus just tends to attract more players!

Laguna Bintan

This first class layout is located next to the Banyan Tree Resort, the course has 2 wonderful ocean holes early in the round on 2 and 3 and then plunges back into the forests and up the hill gradually before a brilliant run of holes from 12 onwards, majestic tree-lined and then at 16 and 17 you come to a couple of the best ocean side holes of the entire Island on Bintan. The approach to 16 and the tee shot at 17 are just sensational holes to play. Watch out for monkeys on this course, they normally appear alongside the 4^th fairway or 3^rd green.
