The Shanti Maurice is a superb luxurious boutique hotel in southwest Mauritius on the eastern end of the Bel Ombre district of the island, which is the quietest and least populated part of Mauritius. Boasting only 61 suites in total, the quality of the rooms is unsurpassed – the smallest rooms which are junior suites are 81 square metres and offering ocean view. The beach here is exquisite – a C shaped bay with pristine white sand and a sheltered location, the extensive exotic gardens are also a major attraction, such a beautiful variety of trees and shrubs – 36 acres of wonderful landscaping, including ponds and lawns, as well as trees, shrubs and vegetation.
The hotel has a great Spa and with our chosen package clients can enjoy a 45 minute massage per person per day in addition to a round of golf on the outstanding Avalon Golf Course per day. Indeed, hotel guests can take advantage of courtesy golf transfers to Avalon and buggy hire whilst playing one of the island’s finest golf courses. Shanti Maurice is new to the golf sector and has only recently launched inclusive golf with its illustrious golfing neighbour.
Special mention of the selection of dining options here which are mostly very authentic Mauritian cuisine – one with a fusion of African, Asian and Indonesian cuisine .

Our special package includes half board, some drinks with your dinner and not just a daily spa treatment but also daily golf included. This part of the island offers some exceptional places to explore, including a crocodile farm, the heart of the Hindu Temples on the island, a Tea Plantation and Black River Gorge National Park, take a day or two out of the resort to explore with a local guide!
