Island Golf Holidays are well known in the luxury couples’ market especially, most of our bookings around the world are indeed for couples. This is precisely what our target market has always been particularly, since our inception in 2017.

However, we have pleasure in announcing a new promotion to encourage existing customers to travel with another couple, or more, to provide an incentive to our clients to recommend us to their golfing friends at their golf clubs.

To qualify all you need to do is book as a foursome, so there are essentially two or more couples booking together on the same holiday, from the same airport, for the same duration, in the same hotel and with the same golfing itinerary.

The advantage of this promotion is that as a fourball, you will be guaranteed to play together for the entire golfing itinerary. As many golfing tourists know, when you book as only a couple, golf courses often reserve the right to pair you up with golfers from any country whom you have never met before. Sometimes this can be an enriching experience and at other times it can be painful, especially if they don’t speak English and cannot hit the ball past the ladies tee!

Delamotte Champagne is one of France’s finest celebrated fizz! The company was established 260 years ago during the Age of Enlightenment in 1763 in the famous Champagne town of Reims. It is part of the world famous Laurent Perrier House and is located adjacent to the renowned sister winery, Salon, another stunning Champagne.

The Champagne has a very balanced grape variety, 60% Chardonnay grape, 35% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier. This gives it a beautiful balance and elegance but a lovely strong flavour at the same time. The taste notes are citrus, white flower, lemon zest and moss.

The vineyards at Delamotte are set on chalky soil and generally across sloping vineyards, providing the perfect foundation for an excellent Champagne.

We recommend the Champagne to be served chilled, but not icy cold, 8 degrees centigrade, best served in Tulip Flutes and we would suggest it is best served as an Aperitif, or as a compliment to a fruit-based dessert.

The Chardonnay grape gives a wonderful structure to the champagne and the Pinot Noir element gives the drink wonderful depth and a fruity aftertaste.
