The Travel Trust Association has been in existence for more than 20 years and is an alternative organisation to ABTA. There are over 900 travel members in the UK. As a customer, what makes TTA special is that when you pay your holiday monies, including your deposit payment, it goes into a Trust Account and the Tour Operator cannot use your money to spend on other items of expenditure.
This means that booking with a TTA Member is much safer than booking with a non TTA Tour Company, because your funds are kept safe and any profit surplus is only released after the hotel, airline and golf partners are paid for your holiday elements. All suppliers are paid 2-4 weeks in advance by Island Golf Holidays.
The TTA is a forward-thinking organisation, which always puts the consumer at the top of the list of priorities. Furthermore, included in your package is supplier failure insurance for all the hotels, golf courses, airlines and transfer companies in the portfolio giving you even more peace of mind.
