Golf Holidays To Greece

Greece is a new addition to the Island Golf holidays portfolio in the middle of 2018. Our first featured region which is (almost an island) – The Peloponnese peninsula is only connected to the Mainland of Greece in two place, The Corinth Canal and The Bridge of Rio Antirio. Certainly, the Pelopponese has the redeeming qualities of an island destination, it is a chilled-out region of Greece and has the most beautiful scenery in the country and because it is not too far from the capital Athens is very accessible, although surprisingly unspoiled and rural in all aspects. Its main industries are the growing of olives and fruit and the production of olive oil and of course vineyards and the production of wines. Indeed, the Navarino Resort has its own wines produced locally. In the coming months and years Island Golf Holidays will be looking at other Greek destinations such as Corfu and Crete.
