VERDURA RESORT HOSTS EUROPEAN TOUR
The European Tour recently hosted the new Rocco Forte Open at the Verdura Resort, a wonderful venue on the Mediterranean tucked away in the south west of the delightful quiet island of Sicily. The course the European Tour players competed on was a composite of both golf courses bringing into play the best ocean holes especially those televised from 15-18 which were so testing in the wind. There is no doubt that the players loved it more than most they have to play on in Europe, the holes were so close to the ocean a number of competitors were playing of the beach on 16 and 18!
