The Sandy Lane Hotel has top class amenities and a first-class Spa with the very finest room facilities and treatments. The location and design features cannot be done justice in print, you just have to experience it for yourself to appreciate the sheer quality.

The main restaurants for evening dining are L’Acajou, which combines French & Mediterranean cuisine, with an influence of Old and New World Wines across an expansive wine cellar. The majestic terrace gives al fresco dining a new edge under the ambience of beautiful mature Mahogany Trees, this is real romantic beach front dining.

Bajan Blue is located on the Lower Terrace and is more informal than L’Acajou, it is also open all through the day and is reached down a sweeping marble staircase. It has the feeling of being in an amphitheatre and offers a combination of Asian, Caribbean and European Cuisine. Afternoon tea on this terrace is a big tradition.

The Spa Café is next to the main Swimming Pool, cocooned by cascading waterfalls, this is only open in the daytime and offers lighter snacks and healthy salad options.

The Country Club is a great venue beside the Golf Course, an ideal place for al fresco lunches, with superb views across the emerald fairways and the Caribbean Sea beyond. You can take afternoon tea of lunch here!

Tennis – there are 9 floodlit tennis courts all of which are complimentary on the Estate for Residents, top class surface and great amenities with a Resident Coach.

Swimming Pool – The Main Pool is 7,500 square feet, with a cascading waterfall and lush tropical gardens, a great facility with full service from the Sandy Lane staff.

Water Sports – All non-motorised water sports are included, and motorised sports can also be organised at a fee like water skiing etc.

The Beach – the stunning Platinum Beach on the Resort is wonderful, offering the ultimate levels of service imaginable, the attention to detail is exceptional, you have reserved seating and sunglass cleaning service for example.

26 Orchid Rooms Located in the Orchid Wing

This is a superb lead in category as the rooms are not just luxurious but also very spacious at 72 square metres, which is big by anyone’s standards. Balconies overlook flowers, gardens and trees, with the glimpse of the Caribbean potentially through the trees.

10 Ocean Rooms Located in the Turtle Wing

Slightly smaller than the Orchid rooms but in a superb location close to the beach, offering wonderful sea views of the Caribbean. The rooms are very close to the Crescent Beach and are 66 square metres. They overlook the clear, blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and are centrally located.

60 Luxury Ocean Rooms Located in Seahorse & Dolphin Wings

These are one step up from the Ocean Rooms and are 14 square metres larger at 80 square metres, so extremely spacious, with more expansive balconies. Located in the Seahorse and Dolphin Wings, they boast great views of the Caribbean Sea and wonderful sunsets too.

Located in the Orchid Wing of the hotel in the gardens, this is a two bedroom and 2 bathroom option at 146 square metres with patio and balcony as well as a living room, with gorgeous views of fauna and gardens – it is very secluded.

05 One-Bedroom Dolphin Suites & 3 Two-Bedroom Luxury Dolphin Suites Located in the Dolphin Wing

The standard Dolphin Suite is a one-bedroom unit with living room and is extremely spacious at 134 square metres. Located in the Dolphin Wing. If you pick the Luxury option, the overall size is similar, and you still have the living room, but you have a second bedroom and the suite is 146 square metres in total size.

02 Penthouse Suites Located in the Orchid Wing and The Villa at Sandy Lane

Sandy Lane has a few outstanding top end accommodation units for the larger family, or party where price is not too relevant, these vary from the exquisite Penthouse Suites, the Sandy Lane Suite and the renowned VILLA AT SANDY LANE, which includes a Butler, Daily Golf, a Resident Chef and a beautiful garden setting with a pool and jacuzzi. This largest option has 5 stately bedrooms and is 678 square metres. Please ask us for more information on the Penthouse and Sandy Lane Suite options.

The Country Club

This is the principal course on the resort the one that you will play most of your golf. Designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio in 1999, it is an absolute gem, with sensational sea views of the Caribbean. It is highly manicured, parkland in style, with lots of contrasting and varied vegetation. The course has been designed around a total of 5 lakes, which is what creates a lot of the challenge and difficulty across all 18 holes. The course is 7,060 yards off the back tees and is a par of 72. A caddy fee of $50 on the included rounds is payable locally, but the buggy is indeed included.

The Green Monkey

This is the most exclusive golfing address in the Caribbean and one of the world’s most mysterious golf courses, simply because so few people are allowed to play it. The tee time sheets are only open for one hour every morning and only for Sandy Lane Residents. One is advised to pre-book their tee time on The Green Monkey, however, it is not a necessity, buggy is included but there is a caddy fee of $50. The golf course was designed by Tom Fazio in 1999 and the design has been carved through an old limestone quarry, with dramatic exposed rock faces on many holes, thus creating unbelievable scenery which is totally unique, there are many elevation changes and great drives from high positions, making it a very exhilarating challenge. On our packages advertised you can play The Green Monkey once. The Sandy Lane Hotel Resident fee to play The Green Monkey is $400.00.

The Old Nine

This is the best of the original 18 prior to the closure of the Estate in 1998, Tom Fazio put some finishing touches to it in 1999-2001 and it is now a very enjoyable part of the golfing experience at the Sandy Lane Hotel. Again, this course delivers a completely different ambience and experience as it meanders through the old Sandy Lane Estate, where the original Sugar Plantation was located. It is tree-lined and parkland style with tight fairways and small greens with some gorgeous par 3 holes. 3345 yards and par 36.
