JARDIN TECINA – THE RESORT

This unique resort is located on the stunning island of La Gomera just to the west of Tenerife. It is hidden away on the sheltered south coast on a spectacular cliff top location south facing, with magnificent ocean views and the widest horizon imaginable. 

The resort is surprisingly large, but because all the rooms are scattered across the headland in a pueblo village style you never feel that you are in a big property. The rooms are  positioned on no more than two floors, with a choice between standard, comfort and superior rooms, which offer garden, side sea view or full ocean view. There are a few junior suites with ocean view, or the more luxurious adult only duplex suites which have added benefits.

The resort has an exceptional Donald Steel golf course, which is unique in that the first tee is not by the clubhouse, which is at the bottom of the hillside, instead when you check in you either self drive your buggy, or get transferred by buggy to the top of the course, where you start at the first tee. The entire course winds its way gently down the mountainside to the 18th green, so it is accordingly very easy to walk. Every hole has exceptional sea views and there are some wonderful par 3s! The course is a joy the play and as exhilarating as any in the Canaries with some similarities to Buenavista.
