The Retreat Spa at Aphrodite is very good offering many treatments using Elemis product. There are thermal infinity pools and a wet area with sauna, steam bath & Jacuzzi. Set in proximity to scented and secluded garden relaxation areas, with massage pavilions outside and indoor cabins.

The deluxe rooms have 4 main categories, ideal for couples, Deluxe double rooms with garden or pool view, Deluxe with sea view, Deluxe with private pool and Deluxe swim up rooms. They are all very well appointed and contemporary since the big refurbishment in 2015. The deluxe rooms are all 33 square metres, with balcony also. We would recommend the sea view category, although the basic garden, or pool view can be very pleasant.

All bedrooms have balcony or terrace, Walk-In shower & separate bath tub, Bathrobe, Slippers, Mini-Bar, Safe, Hair-dryer, Free WI-FI and Tea & Coffee making amenities.

Aphrodite Hills golf course opened in 2002 and is one of Europe’s top golf courses, designed by the famous architect Cabell Robinson, it features wide sweeping fairways, plentiful bunkers on fairways and protecting most greens, many pot bunkers are also in play. The course was rebranded in March 2018 to be the National Golf Club of Cyprus. The greens are tiered and large making the short game, chipping and putting very difficult. The views of the Mediterranean from most holes is visually stunning, as the course is on such high land.

There are many elevated tee shots with sweeping downhill or uphill vistas. There are two holes with water features, many holes are laid out through avenues of carob and olive trees. The course is laid out on two separate plateaus, with a massive ravine separating them on hole 7, which is a special par 3 over the ravine. The fairways are wide and lush Bermuda grass is well manicured year-round.

In June 2017, the course closed through till 2 February 2018 and the design team created new greens and bunkers across the whole course. This did bring the course back to its very best and we expect it to be climbing back to the top of European rankings by 2019..

You can swap 1 of your 4 rounds at other local golf courses, namely Secret Valley, Minthis Hills and Elea Golf & Country Club. The best being the Nick Faldo design at Elea, we will include the transfer to that second course in your package price. Secret Valley is a small course, but lovely and picturesque. Elea is very challenging indeed as all Faldo courses are.
