There are really two main bedrooms at Belle Mare Plage, essentially Prestige doubles and Junior Suites. All bedrooms are sea facing and some of the Prestige rooms are beach-front, but if you want a guarantee of beach-front, you can book Junior-Suite beach-front rooms.

The Junior-Suites have more room in the bedroom space with a sofa and 2 armchairs and larger balconies and terraces, with superior furniture than the Prestige rooms. The Prestige rooms are 45 square metres and the Junior Suites are 68 square metres.

All bedrooms have furnished terraces, or balconies, bathrooms with separate walk-in shower, bath tub, hair-dryer, free WI-FI, Mini-bar, Mini Apple Mac, Safe, Desk, sitting area with armchairs and or sofa.

Belle Mare Plage has two superb golf courses, which are very different to each other the Legends is very well established and has been a golf course venue for 30 years. The course is quite flat with subtle hills and valleys, very easy to walk, with lots of water hazards, there are probably 14 holes which have some water challenge. The Legends course is laid out through beautiful vegetation, with thick foliage and trees lining most fairways, unless there is a water hazard! Never too long, there are only perhaps a couple of long par fours, but the course is arguably the toughest course to keep a medal score. One can lose balls on every hole, without playing too badly. The par three holes are superb and none better than the 17th a Signature hole, which requires a short iron over an estuary of the lagoon, the only hole with sea views in fact! The Legends Course is the best it has ever been, following major work on the course in 2016, better greens, fairways and bunkers!

The Links ,which is a 7 minutes’ shuttle transfer away is very different, the tees are mostly elevated and one gets to play a lot more downhill drives, there are more dog legs, longer par fours and much bigger greens, most of which are raised with big fall offs. The golf course was designed over an old sugar plantation, has sweeping vistas inland to the mountain ranges in the middle of the island and is always very exhilarating and awe inspiring, a bigger course, longer but with much wider fairways and easier greens to hit. However, the putting is more difficult than the Legends, much faster and quicker breaks.
