Just got back from a lovely holiday for which many thanks!

Flight good, room in hotel great (606) and hotel staff, service, friendliness etc lovely.

Local restaurants v good and we spent a couple of delightful lunches / walks in the mountains 20 mins away.

We ended up not playing much golf - has become a bit of a beginners course and v slow (compared to my visit 5 years ago) and greens have fungus, but the layout as you know is lovely and we enjoyed the holes we played (one delightful evening we ‘cut in’ (carefully!) and played 12 holes by the sea)

Frankly not playing much was no big deal as we loved our break so much.

The course as you know is excellent and remains interesting even after the fifth round. Helped of course by great weather and having it almost to ourselves.  The food and warmth of the staff in the clubhouse is superb. The sea view junior suites are great as is the rest of the hotel

We had very helpful suggestions from Alan and Kirstine for restaurants as well as from yourself - again, all excellent

The Tenerife trip was an absolute joy and everything ran very smoothly, thank you for your usual excellent organisation.

The hotel was splendid, in an excellent location built over several levels down the sloping terrain, the staff very attentive and our junior suite was so roomy and comfortable. We were on the same level as reception (level 6) and our balcony looked out and down over the pools, then the golf course and down to the Atlantic Ocean. The food was OK, similar presentation style/feel to the Turkey holiday but on a smaller scale (smaller hotel, fewer guests) but if I'm totally honest not as good or varied. Not that we didn't enjoy the cuisine but, in our view, it didn't live up to the rest of the hotel.

The pools, grounds and numerous seating areas were excellent. The location was very quiet, which was what we wanted, and the walk out from the hotel into Buenavista village and then back along the coastal path between the golf course and the Atlantic Ocean was delightful and one we did every day when not golfing. We found the wonderful cake shop on our first walk into the village and enjoyed the cafes in the central square. We lunched several times at the local fish restaurant at the end of the coastal walk past the golf course, sitting outside overlooking the Atlantic, superb.

The Seve designed course was very beautiful but also very difficult when playing for the first few times, you definitely need to learn where to try and put your golf ball off the tee! It was fairly quiet with some fantastic views over the Ocean. We used trolleys the first 2 rounds and then buggies for the last 2 as I have a bit of a hamstring problem and needed the help but it is very walkable. On the Saturday golf we were joined by a local member who was very friendly and helpful with some local knowledge and recommended the fish restaurant I referred to earlier (Restaurante El Burgado). After our rounds of golf, we had lunch and a beer at the golf club cafeteria-restaurant which had superb views over the golf course and Atlantic Ocean out of a wall of floor to ceiling glass. We were taken to the course with our clubs by the hotel mini-coach and after golf/lunch a phone call from golf club reception to the hotel and we were picked up and taken back, a couple of minutes door to door.

Lovely hotel, great staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Everything went to plan, the flights, transfers, & the golf.

Only criticism we had was the mini bus that took us back to the airport was pretty dilapidated.

Super Golf course, we thoroughly enjoyed in all weather conditions.  Very very windy the first couple of days.

Island Golf Holidays has delivered again. The Melia Hacienda Del Conde is a beautiful hotel and we have a magnificent room overlooking the third green of the Buenavista golf course.

I just need to swing long and straight today to pay my respects to ‘Seve’ who apparently visited the course here that he designed on a number of occasions.

Off now for my early morning swim.

A short note to say thank you for all the arrangements for our golf holiday in Tenerife from which Susan and I returned yesterday morning.  We had a wonderful time. Great weather throughout (c. 28 degrees with breeze), the golf course was beautiful and sufficiently challenging for 7 days of play, and hotel and staff excellent.   Travel was smooth with no hiccups.  A particularly lovely ending was the expertly driven transit to the airport via the fabulous mountain route.

All in all a very relaxing and refreshing time.

We have just returned from golf to be offered the upgrade. We are so grateful to you and the hotel. It makes a huge difference. The junior suites are so much lighter and airier and enable us to sit outside on a warmer open balcony and at night if one of us can’t sleep we can sit in the separate seating area without disturbing the other one. We have had a little sunshine today and the wind has dropped a little too so fingers crossed. We must say that the staff here have all been fantastic and like you we didn’t fancy a busier part of the island. We were just shocked to have such disappointing weather. Thank you again though for your prompt and professional response. We do appreciate it.

Thank you for recommending Hacienda del conde it's fabulous. Love the hotel and golf course. We are able to play all 18 holes, 9 holes have been aerated and sanded but are still good. Course very quiet, millionaires golf! Very efficient staff are making sure everything is perfect.
Weather is glorious too.
