This impressive hotel is situated in the stylish and popular seaside town of Meloneras, which is just next to the bigger town of Maspalomas, a 45-50 minute transfer time from Las Palmas airport and accessible by motorway. The hotel is 300 metres from Meloneras Beach and 800 metres from the lighthouse and harbour and in the opposite direction to the stunning Maspalomas Nature Reserve.
The golf course Lopesan Meloneras Golf, which is also owned by Lopesan is only a 3-minute transfer away and there is a courtesy shuttle bus ride.
The hotel has many highlights and we rate it is one of the finest two properties in the region. The architecture is spell-binding, the entire complex resembling an Andalucian, or classic Canarian village with a church at its forefront, as the lobby is just like a Church possessing 2 main towers, a bell tower and a central dome, with huge archways inside, where you will find the impressive central lobby and lobby bar.
The Spa at Villa del Conde known as the Lopespan Corallium Thalassic is a major attraction and is extremely large with a real Thalasso theme with seawater pools and terraces, there are treatment areas very close to the ocean and double treatment cabins for couples. The restaurants are relatively small, because the owners realise that there are plenty of fine venues to walk to, just a short promenade away in Meloneras and Maspalomas along the sea promenade. However, there is the a la carte Basque French, the Plaza Mayor and La Casa Vieje buffet dining venues. At lunch, you can enjoy the Alpendre buffet grill and salad venue. The hotel has a total of 4 bars also.
Directors Tip – book a sea view room here and play all your golf at the stupendous Lopesan Meloneras Golf course, which is as good as it gets. If you prefer a change then take 1 round at the equally outstanding Anfi Tauro.
