RESORT OVERVIEW
The Tivoli opened in late September 2023 following a 2-year impressive and extensive renovation, following the change of ownership and the move from a Sheraton to a Tivoli run and managed property. The hotel has seen massive improvements, new bedrooms, new public areas and garden and pool amenities, with excellent changes to restaurants as well.
This hotel is in La Caleta, one of the most exclusive seaside districts of the south west of Tenerife. Just 30 minutes’ transfer from the airport the hotel is the perfect choice for golfers who enjoy being in a resort area, from where you can take a promenade along the beach front from the hotel gardens all the way down to Los Cristianos, Bahia del Duque and La Caleta. The closest beach is El Duque Norte, located within a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort is just a 5-minute drive/taxi ride to one of the island’s finest golf courses, Golf Adeje, which is a superb and exhilarating challenge with sea views on all holes.
If you like good Spa amenities then the Tivoli excels in that department with 10 treatment cabins, an excellent indoor pool with wet areas, saunas, hammams etc.
The pool terraced areas are idyllic and the hotel is set in sumptuous colourful tropical gardens, which lead down to the sea and a coastal promenade, there is a very relaxed feel to the resort, because of the lovely environment. There are in fact 1800 square metres of facilities in the Spa and furthermore 18,000 square metres of subtropical gardens and terraces, with a lovely sea-water pool and two fresh water heated pools.
The rooms are mostly the same size, but have a variety of views, we would recommend the premium sea view option if your budget allows, as the hotel has a wonderful location with an outstanding outlook looking across the bay to La Gomera to the west, incredible sunsets all year round.
The dining options at La Caleta include a show cooking buffet, Japanese and a Spanish Tapas Bodega style venue, whilst in walking distance there are some fine restaurants alongside the sea promenade.
Directors Tip – do not pre-book half board here, as there are so many good venues outside the hotel, enjoy golfing at Adeje, Las Americas and Golf del Sur and we would recommend booking a car, or we can quote you for all your golf transfers and airport transfers to be included if you want to totally relax. We can recommend restaurants for you.
